Managing Partner – House of Associates (HOA)Aqsa Basit is the Managing Partner of House of Associates (HOA), a seasoned legal professional with over a decade of experience in high-stakes litigation, corporate advisory, and maritime law across the GCC. She combines deep regional expertise with a strong legal foundation from South Asia, providing clients with strategic and commercially focused legal solutions.
Her practice includes advising multinational corporations and private entities on mergers & acquisitions, multi-million-dirham debt recovery, real estate disputes, complex commercial leases, and corporate structuring. Her background across civil, commercial, labor, and family law enables a comprehensive approach to risk management and dispute resolution.
Prior to founding HOA, Aqsa served as Group Legal Counsel for a major maritime group in the UAE, managing international legal operations, vessel sale and purchase transactions, regulatory compliance, corporate restructuring, and large-scale employment matters. She has also practiced extensively in arbitration (DIAC, DIFC) and UAE court litigation.

With academic and professional exposure across Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, he brings a globally informed approach to corporate practice.
Based in the firm’s Corporate Department, Siddiq supports clients across the full spectrum of corporate matters including structuring, regulatory compliance, and transaction execution. He regularly drafts and negotiates commercial agreements such as partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, and memoranda of understanding.
He also plays an active role in client relations and business development, contributing to outreach initiatives, corporate networking, and client engagement strategies. Fluent in English, Farsi, Pashto, and Urdu, Siddiq ensures clear communication for a diverse international clientele.
